The SLIK 506QF is built tough, tough enough to withstand the rigors of an educational studio environment. This all-metal tripod is simple, but designed to last.
It features a fluid effect pan head has a long pan-handle giving excellent leverage for smooth professional movements. Separate pan and tilt locks allow the camera movements to be independently locked.
The SLIK 506QF uses the classic rugged all-metal legs that have an adjustable and lockable mid-level spreader to keep all legs at the same angle. It also has a crank center column for easy height adjustments. In addition, the 506 legs have an easy-to-grip rubber twist-lock legs to handle heavy loads. Rubber anti-slide feet make it a more stable platform on smooth or polished floors. The durability of this tripod also makes it excellent for educational A/V uses or other environments that demand a tough video tripod.

Oil Fluid Video Head
The head made up of advanced technology that combines "Oil Flued" which puts the resistance of movement by oil, and "Spring Balance" that can hold an equipment at desired tilt angle while releasing the hand from the pan bar.

Crank Type Center Column
The center column adopts the "rack-and-pinion type" mechanism. It can be fine-tune the height of the camera by rotating the crank handle. Also, "FAM" (Friction Adjustment Mechanism)" that can adjust the friction of the column movement that prevent sudden column fall.

Cross Bracing
By connecting the three legs, the strength against the leg twist is increased. By adjusting the height of the "cross bracing", the width of the leg spread can also be adjusted.
