This tripod is rock-solid. At 2,000mm, it handles any shooting situation with absolute stability. Despite it’s tall height, THE PROFESSIONAL 4 NS can be lowered to less than 400mm with short center column (new package includes short column!!). The center column has anti-slip worm gear elevation to prevent any accidental changes in the height of the camera when raising or lowering the center column.

This tripod kit comes with an all-metal, heavy-duty SLIK SH-909 3-way pan head. Photographers that don’t travel light will find the heavy metal construction of SLIK The Professional tripod more than adequate for any task.

High-precision 3-way head "SH-909" as standard equipment

SH-909 adopts a "KOMA locking system" that enables more accurate composition setting. Specially designed built-in "KOMA" precisely fixes the movement of the pan head in conjunction with the rotation of the handle.
3-steps leg angle adjustment

The leg angle can be adjusted in three stages (high, middle and low), by pulling the "leg angle adjustment lock". When installing a tripod on a slope or stairs, you can set the camera horizontally by changing the angle of each leg.
Reliable worm gear center column

Worm gear prevents accidental fall of the center column. It keeps the column height even under the load, and the column goes up and down only when the crank handle is turned. In addition, it is equipped with a friction adjustment function at the bottom of the main body.
Grooved round pipe

The tripod features special pipes with longitudinal groove that prevents rotation between pipes, on mechanically superior round shape. By blending magnesium in aluminum, strength is improved and realize the thickness of 1.1 mm which contributes to the weight reduction of the product.
"Easy-to-Grip" Leg locknut

Adopts rubber molded leg lock nut of easy-to-grip size.
Compatible with U3/8" and U1/4" pan-head mounting

The threaded post screws at the top of the center column is compatible with both U1/4 and U3/8 inch standards. It is a reversible type.
