The SLIK PRO 340BH5 supports 5kg and handles full-sized professional DSLRs with standard lenses. The tripod comes with the SLIK new PBH-535AS ball head with “Cam Lock” Arca Swiss type quick release. This head has an easy grip ball lock lever and a tension adjustment knob to fine-tune the drag on the ball movement. There is a separate panoramic lock on the base, locking the level or angle of the ball but allowing the camera to pan.  There are also 360 degree markings around the base for taking photos to stitch together for panoramic shots

The PRO 340 tripods are capable of handling the weight of a professional full-frame DSLRs or mirrorless cameras with heavy lenses.  It can handle up to 5kg of equipment yet it keeps itself light in case the tripod needs to be moved around.  It offers professional photographers and advanced amateurs the strength and stability they need. SLIK’s exclusive AMT super titanium alloy legs make the PRO 340 tripods rock steady yet lighter than it looks.

 

SLIK AMT has a 40% greater strength to weight ratio than standard aluminum. The legs are lighter weight yet stronger than the standard metal used in most of today’s tripods. This lightweight comes with a price comparable to other standard aluminum tripods.

 

The SLIK PRO 340BH5 also makes setting up easy with secure, speed-release leg locks. A gearless center column and 3-position, adjustable angle leg locks allow easy set-up on uneven ground or steps. The SLIK PRO 340BH5 center column is two threaded pieces that convert the top piece to a short column. Combined with the adjustable leg angle locks the tripod lowers to 265mm for low angle shot.
